"Daydreamer" is a mural created for "Arte Urbana", an all-female art exhibition at Sala Amos Salvador in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain. The exhibition celebrates and highlights female artists practicing mural work, street art, and graffiti writing - including the iconic Lady Pink NYC, Miss Van, and many more. This piece is a semi-self-portrait, a reflection on the power of art in my life during the last few difficult months -- sometimes a therapist, sometimes a diary, sometimes pure fun, sometimes meditation, sometimes an escape, sometimes a friend -- and something for others to enjoy and learn from. The figure is lost in her dreams; finding solace in making art and imagining the future.
