For my senior thesis project I decided to design a project around an issue that had not been well known, the
helium shortage. Unfortunately, the most common reaction to the helium shortage has been something relating to balloons. Helium is actually used in many more industries such as cryogenics, arc welding, physics and more. As a designer I felt it was important to share this knowledge with the public with the hope of raising the issue of sustainability in a different, not so common way.
