MONO              bachelor thesis
Today we humans live in a society where the cognitive demands of our environment have increased significantly, especially concerning the interaction with complex products. As digitalization and digital products develop, the demands on the user also increase during the interaction. The purpose of this bachelor project was to investigate the possibilities when combining cognitive psychology and product design to create products with minimal cognitive load. The study resulted in a new physical user interface - that works as a general specification for designing cognitively reduced physical products.

The study resulted in the redesign of three everyday products with high cognitive demands in the interaction.
The speaker
The door handle
The remote controller
