I was asked to choose my favorite talk from the latest General Conference of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints, and create a gift booklet of the talk that I could give to someone I love. I chose Consider the Goodness and Greatness of God By Elder Dale G. Renlund. Elder Renlund gives a wonderful discourse on seeing and remembering God's hand in our lives, on considering "the greatness and goodness of God". I think that if we all could read this talk and internalize it, we would be happier people. 

I designed this booklet to be very simple and modern, without being boing. I wanted to emphasize bold colors, clean lines, and alignments. I used full justify for the blocks of body copy, and a left or right justify on the block quotes. 

The bold typeface, Mr. Eaves XL San is meant to make reading easy and pleasing to look at. I wanted to create visual interest, without any of the individual elements being too overpowering.
