ARCHITECTURE AS A GAME
Ludic Space Renovation
Understanding the qualities of an elementary kid, and attending to their physical and even more intellectual needs. A playful room is proposed where flexibility is a constant. And where the interaction and kinesis are produced through the action of the child with the main architectural object, which is the furniture that surrounds the space. Thus, the child can express himself in a space that differs greatly from the typical classroom, and where learning is confused with play.
The decision to free up the central space and surround it with this dynamic furniture, part of the multi functional idea of the room, where activities such as meditation / yoga workshops, audiovisual reproduction, recreational games and reading are just some of the activities that can be carried out. with this renovation. The main piece of the space starts from the idea that for there to be play, movement, the user must have a relationship back and forth, either with another user, a game or an object. In this case the architectural object becomes the main object of interaction since having this ambiguity of full and empty spaces, the child can experiment with it in different ways, either sitting down to read in it, taking some of the removable furniture or using it as a base for some game. So the space itself, the possibilities are vast.
