HATCH - Programming and Storage System
"Next Generation of HATCH" is a conceptual blueprint for the future of HATCH, which is a co-working factory based in Kwai Chung. HATCH promotes ‘Made in Hong Kong’ manufacturing, employs women from underprivileged families, offers flexible and family-friendly working hours and childcare support.
This project aims at cooperate with multi-discipline design students (ie. Communication Design and Social Design) and provide a new vision for HATCH workers, visitors and partners. Not only doing the job of branding, but also develop an integrated experience for different stakeholders through spatial planning. Zoning and programming, organised storage system, equipment configurations and assembled modular units are the main interior tasks involve in this project.
