This was my Master’s degree final project. I was researching ways how to optimise the music experience in the digital age. Album artwork has a less significant role in digital music. You lose the tactility of an album cover and people are listening much more passive to music.

My answer is Antenna, a music app that tries to bring some of that experience back through the integration of app-albums, while embracing the advantages of the iPad.

I designed this app after a lot of research. I researched literature, conducted interviews, compared many different music players / streaming services to come up with this idea and translate it to wireframes and later on a high-fidelity prototype. I created a blog (in Dutch) where I logged my progress.
Follow your friend's activities, listen to music in your own collection, stream music or buy music in the overview mode.
