Far Cry Arcade

"Far Cry Arcade is a mode introduced in Far Cry 5. It lets the community build and share single-player, co-op, multiplayer deathmatch maps by using an in-game editor. Many of the perks earned in the story campaign can be used in Arcade. We can find in the Arcade Editor more than 9000 objects to use from different games (Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 5, Far Cry Blood Dragon, Far Cry DLCs (Zombie, Mars, Vietnam), Assassin's Creed Unity, Assassin's Creed Origins, Watch Dogs, and more."

Arcade Editor
In the Arcade Editor team, I was in charge of the asset integration alongside with new technical aspect of the Editor (such as Envionment effects, Particles Manager, Scripting, etc). I also had the opportunity to do Level Design worlds while doing 3D modelling to optimise some of the asset integrated.

The maps that we can find in the Arcade catalogue, are all made with assets coming from different games. Since each game had their own workflow and way to work, we had to adapt our pipeline to be universal to all games the assets were coming from (metric, visual, lighting, etc).

A part of my work was also to listen closely to the needs of our Level Designers and our community. This allowed us to improve our editor and also deliver tools people would actually need and use (ex: change radius of light, color, intensity, etc).

Following the release of Far Cry 5, we pushed multiple updates where we added more content to our catalogue while improving the editor itself.

Livestreams
At multiple occasions, I had the opportunity to participate to Livestreams where I was showcasing the new content of our updates. During these presentation, I was overviewing the new integrations and also showing how to use tools we made for the community. It was also a moment where I shared my tips and tricks while answering live questions.
