Breathtaking Architecture

Last two months, I went through two countries, Bangkok & Cambodia.

At June, I went to Bangkok with my cousins. I saw one of the most beautiful buddhist temple and also the landmark of Bangkok, Wat Arun. I am so glad that I could took this beautiful photography.
Wat Arun is a Buddhist temple in the Bangkok Yai district of Bangkok, Thailand, on the Thonburi west bank of the Chao Phraya River.

The temple derives its name from the Hindu godAruna, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun and full name of the temple is given by Wat Arun Ratchawararam Ratchawaramahawihan.

Wat Arun is among the best known of Thailand's landmarks and the first light of the morning reflects off the surface of the temple with pearly iridescence. Although the temple had existed since at least the seventeenth century, its distinctive prang (spires) were built in the early nineteenth century during the reign of KingRama II.

After a month, I went to Cambodia with my schoolmates, classmates & housemates (Seven of them actually =.=) at July. It is another wonderful heritage temple area, Angkor Wat. Although there was no sunrise, sunset and sunrise (both days also in the dark cloud mood) when we was there but the stunning view still created this photography.
Angkor Wat is a Hindu, then subsequently Buddhist temple complex and the largest religious monument in the world. The temple was built by the Khmer King Suryavarman II in the early 12th century in Yasodharapura, the capital of the Khmer Empire, as his state temple and eventual mausoleum.

Breaking from the Shaivismtradition of previous kings, Angkor Wat was instead dedicated to Vishnu. As the best-preserved temple at the site, it is the only one to have remained a significant religious centre since its foundation – first Hindu, then Buddhist. The temple is at the top of the high classical style of Khmer architecture. It has become a symbol of Cambodia, appearing on its national flag, and it is the country's prime attraction for visitors.
