One of 5 winners exhibited at Milan and Florence design week, Filament is part of the Glass house collection for the Italian glass company Vetrerie Dal Pian.
The true strength of 'Filament' as a design is it simplicity, by making all aspects a feature for design engages the user. No part is hidden or celebrated just considered and appropriate drawing attention to the quality of the Glass and the function of the product. Filament is designed to be a part of peoples lives therefore its ability to sit back and harmonize with its environment is just as important as its role of a functional light. Importantly the proportioning and constructions highlights the potential for change, development and expression, be it in the Glass, Bulb or dimensions.
