JH3 Fusion Forever / Album Artwork
Together with my partner Vincent Zurwesten I designed the cover artwork, lables and further artwork for the Jari Haapalainen Trio's latest album "Fusion Forever".
It was recently released by Adrian Recordings in Sweden. Physical copies are being sold at a limited number.
Considering the musical style Vincent and I wen for an equally rough and washed out, dirty-ish artwork. Vincents character (on the back side) brings an element of comic and graffiti aesthetic into the rather toned down setting of the drawing I did.
The album features beautiful, yet eery and punky, rough and mysterious avantgarde jazz fusion tracks.
I strongly recommend listening to it.
