No. 67: To a Different Beat (2017)
Seven Indian percussion instruments - Idakka, Dumru, Dhol, Mridungam, Tabla, Khartaal and Ghatam coming together in a form that depicts the exploratory space that beats hold in music. This dynamic organism, emits fantastical colors, bringing to life the richness of the cultural landscape of India.
This is a homage to rhythm cycles, gift wrapped in the eclecticism that is traditional Indian music. A collaboration with Ninaad Kulkarni.
