Way-finding System
Problems:
-Monkeys causes destruction on terrace garden.
-Outsiders and family members pluck flowers from the garden.
Way finding strategy (Regulatory Approach)
Context : Monkeys causes a lots of destruction in our garden they eat plants and break pots. Once My uncle who maintains Shiv Vatika (terrace garden) kept a wooden snake on the stairs of shiv temple located in our garden, as a symbol of lord shiva’s snake Vasuki. Looking at it all the monkeys went mad, started making a lot of noise and jumping away from the terrace in order to escape themselves from the snake.
Strategy: To avoid this destruction and people plucking flowers a Vasuki lead wayfinding is created, in which vasuki the snake of lord shiva guides and instructs whosoever visits Shiv Vatika. This strategy serves as a dual problem solver, looking at Vasuki, the monkeys won't come and it would also regulate visitors.
