Ethical Framework for Children and AI
Generation AI is a joint initiative between UNICEF and the World Economic Forum that looks to identify the most pressing opportunities to uphold and protect children’s rights in the context of rapidly developing AI technologies, alongside the important risks therein.
Foundation for the ethical framework for children and AI was developed during the multi-stakeholder session at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The focus of this framework was:
- Identifying and enabling the right role for government
- Developing and Adapting Global Standards
- Rights-based Education for Technologists and Designers
- Inclusive AI (Design, Development, and Deployment)
