The Smokehouse Distillery Website Design
Brief: Smokehouse Distillery are A family-run, small batch distillery based in the beautiful Ripley Castle Estate in Harrogate, UK. Smokehouse initially only had their packaging design and some leaflets which reflected their branding, and urgently needed a website which reflected the company, showcased their crafty illustrations and sold their distinctive products.
Challenges: Deadline! We had 2 weeks to design and build their entire website before a national gin festival.
Goals: Create a great looking and functional eCommerce website in a short amount of time before promoting their brand at a gin festival.
My role: Lead Designer
My solution: To create a minimalist monotone website embracing negative space, displaying a professional yet boutique styling. Built quickly by being extremely reactive to the developer's needs.
