Stone and Sling Leather Co. is a people-first, ethical leather brand. They are motivated by the desire to empower and upskill artisans in South Africa and to create a space for the people that our society has forgotten about.
For a product to be truly beautiful, the system it creates must be beautiful. The design of the SSLC logo is inspired by the heart of the brand to connect resources and support back to the creators of the products. The double ‘S’ shape of the logo represents the movement of hand stitching - organic, natural and beautifully crafted. Ingrained in this design is the powerful belief we are all connected - intricately woven together, and a chain is only as strong as its weakest link. We can create a ripple of impact and upliftment when we join hands.
