Brief: Origami Pulse CIC hold origami workshops and sessions to share the benefits of origami for wellbeing. Origami Pulse aim is to raise global community awareness and give a universal sense of belonging through the medium of paper. I was asked to design a booklet filled with origami information and instructions to inspire people to get involved with paper folding. The booklet was primarily for people with no experience in origami therefore the instructions needed to be accurate, informative and easy to follow. 

Outcome: Working with a copywriter and editor, we came up with short, simplistic written instructions that are easy to follow. I created the origami diagrams in Adobe Illustrator. It was important that the individual diagrams for each fold were the same size, symmetrical and included the correct origami symbols. To ensure that the diagrams were easy to follow, I used the diagrams to create my own origami folds. This way it was easy to see which diagrams needed amends.
